As DRF's Byron King posted this morning, Princess Yaiza, who finished ninth in the BC Filly and Mare Turf, was on a one-way ticket when she shipped here from England last week. She'll move into the barn of trainer Christophe Clement to continue her career in N. America. Could be a useful G2 sort of f & m turf horse but hard to see much more than that.
Princess Yaiza is one of five horses who shipped overseas last week for the Breeders' Cup and will remain in America.
-- Clemmie, who acquitted herself admirably in the Mile, finishing sixth at odds of 80-1, won't be going back to Ireland, but I don't know who trains her here.
-- The Mackem Bullet, sixth at 25-1 Friday in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, will join the barn of trainer Wesley Ward.
-- Queen of Bermuda, a solid fourth at 23-1 in the Juvenile Turf Sprint, is moving into the barn of trainer Graham Motion.
-- We already knew this one, but The Black Album, eighth at 30-1 in the Juvenile Turf, now will be trained by Rodolphe Brisset.
The rest of the Euros are headed back home. France-based horses go to Chicago today and complete their travel Monday. Aidan O'Brien's horses from Ireland go to Chicago as well but fly on home tonight. The English horses travel Monday going straight from Louisville back home.
