Irad Ortiz Jr. celebrates first Eclipse Award with a four bagger on Friday

Day one as the reigning Eclipse Award winning jockey was a good one for Irad Ortiz Jr., who completed a four bagger on Friday's card by driving Yako(5-1) to victory in the finale, the Andromeda Starter Stakes. Yako ran down the pace setting favorite Sister Peacock, who suffered her first setback after winning her first two career outings by a combined 12 1/2 lengths at Woodbine. Yako is trained by Antonio Sano, who has been on a bit of a roll of late heading into Saturday's Pegasus World Cup with Gunnevera.  Yako returned $12.40.
