A perfect day for racing, clear and sunny, for today's 12 race card which kicks off at 12:05 p.m.  The Royal Delta is the main event with Blamed, looking to make amends for disappointing effort in the Hurricane Bertie, likely to vie for favoritism with Tequilita.  Another Broad, first time Pletcher, also looks like a major player in the one mile, Grade 3 fixture.

Some interesting maiden special weight races highlight early portion of the card with Pletcher and Chad Brown having a couple of interesting first time starters in Fort Worth and Bandon Woods, both of whom figure to take plenty of backing in their debuts.  The filly division of the same race goes next with Brown's Smooth With a Kick the likely favorite in her bow.
