The first-level allowance/optional $80,000 claiming race is the eighth on a nine-race card. Manhattan Up, Diamond Blitz and Grab the Munny also entered.

The favorite will one of these three: Nolo Contesto, whose highly rated maiden win was validated when runner-up Omaha Beach returned to win; Del Mar Futurity third-place finisher Roadster, the “TMZ horse” as he is referred to by trainer Bob Baffert; or Dessman, runner-up in the Grade 2 San Vicente last out.
