Servis: Maximum Security "came back okay" from Derby, to have 3yo campaign after skipping Preakness, "no comment" on DQ

Trainer Jason Servis, in a text message on Monday, said that Maximum Security "came back okay" from the Kentucky Derby on Saturday and will "point for a three-year-old campaign which does not includes the Preakness."

Servis is based at Monmouth Park during the summer, and while Servis did not commit to any upcoming race for Maximum Security, a race like the 1 1/8-mile Haskell at Monmouth on July 20 would seem a potential target. Maximum Security is scheduled to arrive at Monmouth on Tuesday, according to a press release from the track.

Maximum Security on Saturday became the first horse to be disqualified from victory in the Derby for a on-track incident.

Servis, in his text, said he had "no comment on what happened."
