REAL NEWS (5) has been strong in all three lifetime starts for trainer Al Stall, Jr., and he's an obvious contender in this afternoon's James W. Murphy at Pimlico. A son of The Factor, Real News finished a strong second to Bulletin in a turf sprint stakes at Keeneland most recently, and while Bulletin exited that race and disappointed in his next start at Churchill Downs, the form of the Palisades seems to be holding up quite well.
Real News will try to navigate two-turns for the first time in his career, and while it doesn't appear as though that should be an issue, you never know until they do it. It's no surprise to see him taking money; he's currently the 2-1 co-favorite with 15 MTP.
