Evangeline Downs in Opelousas, La., has canceled Saturday night's card, according to a notice from the track. The program included the $50,000 John Henry Stakes that drew Mocito Rojo. The John Henry will be brought back as an extra for July 20.

Evangeline plans to race tonight, Thursday, as well as Friday night.

Opelousas is under a flash flood warning from Friday night through Saturday due to a tropical storm in the Gulf of Mexico.
