Long Weekend, at 2-1, edged Echo Town to win the $100,000 Bachelor in a photo Saturday at Oaklawn.
Eight Rings, the favorite in his first start since November, raced with the pace and finished fifth.
Long Weekend set fractions of 21.82 seconds for the opening quarter and 44.97 for the half-mile, pushed along by Echo Town and Eight Rings. Long Weekend dueled with Echo Town for much of the stretch run, and covered six furlongs on a fast track in 1:09.63.
Joe Talamo was aboard the winner for trainer Tom Amoss. It was the second straight stakes score for Long weekend behind the Gazebo last month at Oaklawn.
