Jockey Stewart Elliott won four races on the Wednesday card at Lone Star Park to move within five victories of a milestone of 5,000 career riding wins. His current win count stands at 4,995. Racing resumes Sunday at Lone Star Park. 

Elliott won Wednesday's opener with Tapsoluation ($4); the third race with Elitch ($4); the fourth with Texas Rain ($8); and the eighth with Dustwhirl Wonder ($3.40). Of his wins, three were for trainer Steve Asmussen.
