Remington Park in Oklahoma City announced Tuesday that it has moved the date of the $400,000 Springboard Mile - which has traditionally been a points race for the Kentucky Derby - to Dec. 17. The race had originally been scheduled for Dec. 19.
The Remington season will now close Dec. 17. It had been set to end on Dec. 19. The stakes supporting the Springboard Mile also will be moved to Dec. 17. It is a Friday night program.
Remington will still race 67 dates this meet, picking up Sept. 29 and Nov. 11 to replace Dec. 18 and Dec. 19.
