Cristian Torres, who is the current leading rider at Remington Park in Oklahoma City, and Orlando Mojica, a winner of more than 2,600 races, will both be based at the upcoming Oaklawn meet in Hot Springs, Ark., and are to be represented by agent Cody Autrey. The season starts Dec. 9.
Autrey, who has been a trainer, racing manager and bloodstock agent, has taken up a new role in racing as a jockey agent. He said Torres has spent the past three days working horses at Oaklawn and retured to Remington earlier Friday to ride that night's card. Torres rode in his first Breeders' Cup last weekend, getting on Flash of Mischief in the Sprint for trainer Karl Broberg.
Mojica will be returning to Oaklawn after an absence the past few seasons. He has won four stakes in Hot Springs, including the Grade 3 Honeybee with Chocolate Kisses.
