Apprehend, who earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 107 for a second-level allowance win last out at Santa Anita, is set to make his stakes debut next Tuesday, Nov. 22, in the $250,000 Zia Park Derby. He was one of six horses entered in the 1 1/16 miles race that anchors a card of stakes alongside the $250,000 Zia Park Oaks.
Apprehend will break from post 5 under Ramon Vazquez.

Great Escape won the Grade 3 Canadian Derby in August.
The Zia Derby goes as the 10th and final race, with a scheduled post of 4:03 p.m. Mountain.
The Zia Park Oaks drew a field of six, including Grade 3 Remington Park Oaks winner Hits Pricey Legacy and Sunland Park Oaks winner Cleopatra's Charge.
The field also includes Bella Runner is a daughter of Gun Runner and the multiple Grade 1-winning mare Love and Pride. Florent Geroux will ride, in one of several mounts he has on the card for trainer Steve Asmussen.
